School of Science and Technology
The School of Science and Technology is a full-day option school for 9 to 12 grade students who are self-directed and like to design projects that focus on science and math. Traditional classroom methods are combined with investigative projects, opportunities for field-based learning, use of computer applications in every class, and strong internships with public agencies and private corporations. A sense of community is reinforced through the small school setting and close ties to peers and teachers. The curriculum meets all graduation requirements. While SST attracts many TAG students, many other students without the TAG designation have talents and gifts that enrich the SST community.
