*****AVID: Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is an Academic elective course that emphasizes rhetorical reading, Analytical writing, collaborative discussion strategies, tutorial inquiry study groups, preparation for college entrance and placement exams, college study skills and test-taking strategies, note-taking and research.
