Science

The Science program at SST is designed with three goals in mind. First, and foremost, our goal is to build informed citizens. Knowledge in science is an important foundation to being a citizen in the 21st Century when many local, national and global issues are based on science and technology. Second, our science program is designed to meet graduation requirements set forth by the state of Oregon and the Beaverton School District. Finally, our program is designed to prepare students for collegiate academic programs. The state of Oregon requires 3.0 credits in science courses for graduation. Most colleges require at least three years of science, and may require four years.

Note: Not all courses are offered every year. See the current school year's Academic Planning Guide for course descriptions, as well as Course Placement and Override information.
