Career ​Related Learning Experiences (CRLE’s)

What is a “CRLE” (pronounced “curly”)?


CRLE's are any career related experience. The most common types are listed at the top of the CRLE reflection sheet (job shadow, internship, informational interview, work experience, career fair, guest speaker, etc...). After a student has a career related experience, information about the CRLE is entered into CIS .  


CRLE Credits

  • In order to receive credit for attending a CRLE event a student must enter information into their CIS account.  All students, 9th - 12th grade, must complete at least one per grade in order to receive their Career Education credit. 
  • Students attending off-campus CRLE events during the regular school day must a pre-arranged absence form. 


CRLE Opportunities


Click here​ to view all CRLE opportunities available through the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce School to Work program.  Students can also register to attend events at the same link.  Registrations open nearly every week for new opportunities and can fill quickly several weeks in advance of the event.  Posters for these events can also be found in K Hall on the wall near the CCC.  Students must provide their own transportation to/from these events.​
