Dear Families of Westview High School Students,

As we approach the beginning of the school year, I would like to
welcome all of you to what promises to be a very exciting school year
for the Westview High School community. New opportunities and
challenges will present themselves for anyone who is interested and
willing to become involved.

I hope that your summer break has been restful and that you are
looking forward to the start of the school year. Here at Westview we
offer numerous opportunities for your students to be engaged
and challenged not only academically but socially and emotionally
as well. We believe that all of us have opportunities to grow, that
intelligence is malleable, and that all of this growth is accomplished
through one’s propensity to work extremely hard. As a staff we are
committed to teaching and modeling the foundational skills that
will get your students ready for college and/or career.

I would encourage families to stay involved in your student’s high school
experience by attending school events, monitoring their progress and
communicating with us on a regular basis. I also encourage you to volunteer
for special events, projects, or participate in the activities sponsored by school
or parent organizations. It is truly amazing what dedicated staff, supportive
parents, and great students can achieve together.

I look forward to working with you throughout the upcoming school year.
Go Cats!

Cordially,
Jon Franco, Ed.D.
