The State ACT/PreACT/ASPIRE testing date is Tuesday April 3 and will take place at Westview. Testing is the only activity that will be scheduled that day. There are no fees associated with taking these tests on April 3. Additionally, 9th and 11th grade students have the opportunity to pass some or all of their Essential Skills (required for graduation) by taking their respective tests.
JUNIORS: All juniors are automatically registered for the state ACT test. Bubbling will occur on Monday March 12th and Tuesday March 13th, at Westview. There are no fees associated with this test and students can send to up to five colleges for free. Additionally, students have the opportunity to pass their Essential Skills (required for graduation) in math, writing and reading by taking this test,
SOPHOMORES: All sophomores will be taking the PreACT. Registration will occur the day of the day of the test. This test will prepare them for taking the ACT in their junior year.
FRESHMAN: All freshman students will be taking the ACT ASPIRE test at Westview on April 3, 2018. Registration will be the day of the test. Additionally, students have the opportunity to pass their Essential Skills (required for graduation) in math and reading by taking this test.
