Update on Instructional Time

Time in the classroom matters. It's where students connect with teachers, engage with ideas, and build the knowledge and skills that carry them forward. Beaverton School District believes that the time students spend with their teachers — through both the amount of class time provided and students' consistent attendance to engage in learning — is fundamental to student success.

Families may have heard that measles is spreading. Students in Oregon are at higher risk for contracting measles due to low vaccination rates. As of May 22, Oregon has seen 23 cases of measles and neighboring Washington state has reported 44 cases.
