Seventy-three graduates of the Beaverton School District’s Health Careers Career & Technical Education (CTE) program have earned national certifications in allied health professions,  including nurse assisting, medical assisting, pharmacy technician and dental assisting.

The Beaverton School District proudly announces that three of its graduating seniors have been named recipients of the prestigious College-Sponsored National Merit Scholarships. These awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarships. 

Time in the classroom matters. It's where students connect with teachers, engage with ideas, and build the knowledge and skills that carry them forward. Beaverton School District believes that the time students spend with their teachers — through both the amount of class time provided and students' consistent attendance to engage in learning — is fundamental to student success.

Families may have heard that measles is spreading. Students in Oregon are at higher risk for contracting measles due to low vaccination rates. As of May 22, Oregon has seen 23 cases of measles and neighboring Washington state has reported 44 cases.
