We are releasing an updated calendar for the 2023-2024 school year that aligns with other districts. Winter break will be a week earlier, starting Monday, December 18, 2023 through Monday, January 1, 2024.

Superintendent Dr. Gustavo Balderas has been elected as the 2023-2024 president-elect of AASA, The School Superintendents Association, the nation’s premier organization representing more than 13,000 public school superintendents nationwide.

In 2021, the District moved to a grading scale that no longer included an F and instead ran A-D. Students who did not earn a D or better but who had submitted at least one piece of evidence toward a standard were given an I (Incomplete).

As part of the Behavioral Health and Wellness Quality Curriculum Cycle, there will be an in-person materials preview session on March 13 from 2-4 p.m. at the District Administrative Office, 1260 NW Waterhouse Ave. in Beaverton.

There will be no school on Tuesday, April 4 for 9th and 12th graders at comprehensive high schools (Aloha, Beaverton, Mountainside, Southridge, Sunset and Westview) and 6-9^th and 12^th graders at option schools (ACMA, BASE, FLEX, ISB and Community School).
