The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) has released results from the Oregon Statewide Assessment System’s annual state tests in spring 2024. The results show students in the Beaverton School District continued to outperform their peers statewide in all subjects, at all grade levels and in nearly all student groups.

The Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA) membership has ratified the recent tentative agreement on compensation achieved between the District and the union representing our classified staff. There was a strong turnout for the ratification vote, and 94% of the voting OSEA members approved the contractual agreement.

Last spring, we communicated that the District was pausing discussions about possible changes in future enrollment at the new Raleigh Hills Elementary School to be opened in fall 2026 and would be developing a plan for a wider conversation about issues facing the entire district.

BSD has three vacancies on the Budget Committee. The Budget Committee reviews the district’s budget and may recommend changes.

By replacing the old high-wattage bulbs with these new LED lights, it's estimated that the project will save $6,000 per year and reduce our carbon footprint.

There is one athletic trainer at every high school in the Beaverton School District. Each athletic trainer takes care of many student athletes in multiple sports.
